Proudly celebrating it's 30th anniversary, Concord Well Servicing operates 140 service rigs in Alberta, Saskatchewan, NE British Columbia, and the Northwest Territories. Lead by President Gordon Vivian, the Concord team is comprised of individuals with decades of experience in the oil and gas industry. Concord is a division of CCS Corporation, which is guided by CCS President, Dave Werklund.
Concord Well Servicing is a global leader in well servicing innovation--setting the new standard in service rig technology with automated safety, monitoring, reporting and communications systems. By introducing the most advanced data acquisition and safety systems in the industry, and by implementing a first-of-its-kind simulation-based training for rig workers, Concord continues to deliver the most business benefits to clients and improve its competent workforce.
The definition of “Concord” is harmonious ideas, feelings or relationships. Harmony in this organization gives it the opportunity to be the premier well servicing contractor in Canada.
Concord Well Servicing has a longstanding history with The Canadian Association of Oilwell Drilling Contractors (CAODC), an active trade association representing drilling and service rig contractors throughout Canada. In addition to his place on the CAODC Board of Directors since 1994, Concord President Gordon Vivian has served as Vice Chairman (2000), Chairman (2001), and Past Chairman (2002) of the Service Rig Executive Committee. Other CAODC members on the Concord team include Vice-President Dean Parkinson, Fleet Support Director Bruce Konowalyk, Loss Prevention Director Lonnie Campbell, Human Resources Director Dean Fraser, Lead Loss Prevention Coordinator John Anderson, and Transportation Safety Coordinator Jim Fraser.
